Come and visit our Mothers of Preschoolers group!

Becoming a parent is exciting, but it also means adapting to a big life change.  It's easy to feel unprepared, overwhelmed, unappreciated, and even scared.  Our Monrovia MOPS group is a caring, encouraging, and accepting environment for today’s moms.  MOPS offers a time of fun and fellowship, discussion and sharing, creativity and crafts, and food!  Whether your nerves are frazzled or life is smooth sailing, you will find that you are not alone.

This year we have a variety of speakers lined up and opportunities to create some fun crafts.  The lessons/programs provided are encouraging and relate to being a better wife, mother, or just plain girl stuff.  Our MOPS group strives to meet the needs of every mom with children from birth through kindergarten.  Feel free to send us an email or come visit and check it out!    

Come and join us!  Our fall semester will start up again in mid-September at First Presbyterian Church in Monrovia.  MOPS meets from 9:15-11:30am in the Fireside Room.

MOPS groups are communities that recognize that urban, suburban, and rural moms, stay-at-home and working moms, teen, single, and married moms all share a similar desire to be the very best moms they can be!  MOPS recognizes that the years from infancy through kindergarten are foundational in a mother-child relationship and are filled with unique needs.  MOPS also encourages and supports moms through resources such as books, the momsense radio program, and the MOPS International membership.
